We are pleased to announce that a successful succession arrangement has been implemented at OEG GmbH.

 

The company’s founders and former shareholders, Dr.-Ing. Stephan Rothe and Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Glaubitz, established OEG GmbH in October 1991. Over the course of more than three decades, they have shaped the company into an internationally recognized provider in the fields of optics, electronics, and gauge—guided by strategic foresight, technical excellence, and unwavering personal commitment.

 

Effective April 1, 2025, Dr.-Ing. Hassan Gargouri has acquired 100% of the shares in the company and has assumed sole management of OEG GmbH. We extend a warm welcome to Dr. Gargouri in his new capacity and look forward with confidence to a successful future under his leadership.

 

The established values, structures, and quality standards of OEG GmbH will, of course, remain in place. Our clients and business partners can continue to rely on outstanding products, reliable service, and their trusted contacts—supported by the experienced and well-coordinated team of OEG GmbH. With this succession arrangement, the long-term future of our company is assured.

 

The former owners, Dr.-Ing. Stephan Rothe and Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Glaubitz, would like to express their sincere gratitude for your trust and the longstanding, cooperative partnership. Together with our new owner and Managing Director, Dr.-Ing. Hassan Gargouri, we look forward to a continued successful collaboration.

Dr. Gargouri brings extensive experience in key areas, including research and development, project and product management, business development, and international sales. Over the course of his career, he has led numerous technological innovation initiatives and successfully managed complex development and market launch projects.

 

He combines in-depth technical and application-oriented expertise with fresh perspectives and a clear vision for the strategic advancement of customer-centric solutions. Furthermore, he possesses broad experience in leading and developing interdisciplinary teams, as well as in shaping modern personnel and organizational structures.

 

He places particular emphasis on technological excellence and a consistent alignment with the needs of our customers—aiming to deliver sustainable solutions and ensure the highest level of satisfaction.

 

We are confident that he will guide OEG GmbH into a successful future with vision, innovative strength, and a strong spirit of collaboration.

 

Dr. Rothe led OEG GmbH from its founding in 1991 alongside Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Glaubitz. Together, they successfully established the company as an internationally active provider and positioned it as a leading name in the fields of optics, electronics, and precision engineering.

 

Following Dr. Glaubitz’s retirement, Dr. Rothe assumed sole responsibility for the company’s management and continued to shape the development of OEG GmbH with lasting impact over many years.

 

As of March 31, 2025, Dr. Stephan Rothe has stepped down from active management. Nevertheless, he will continue to support OEG GmbH and his successor in an advisory role as Senior Manager, actively accompanying the transition process.

 

We extend our sincere and heartfelt thanks to Dr. Rothe for his outstanding leadership, many years of dedicated service, and invaluable contributions to the long-term success of OEG GmbH.

 

 

 

2021 the OEG GmbH celebrated its 30th anniversary.

 

Since October 1991 we have been working on the development and manufacture of high-precision optical measuring devices.

Due to the success of our measuring devices, we have become an integral part of several industries, for example the optics industry, the beverage can industry and the semiconductor industry.

 

 

OEG GmbH will continue this development together with its partners, customers and thanks to its highly qualified employees in the future and remain a reliable supplier for all our customers!

 

 

 

 

The company OEG was founded in 1991 and works since them successful in the field of development and production of optical metrology system for industrial and research application. OEG is focused on optical non contact measuring systems for optical, geometrical and physical parameters.

 

In the meantime OEG equipment is installed onto all continents.

 

This fact proves the capabilities and innovation power of the OEG engineers and technicians, the most important capital of the company.

 

We are proud of hundreds of customers from different industrial branches and educational institutions worldwide. OEG has for example customers in optical-, semiconductor-, machine building-, beverage can- and automotive industrie.

 

OEG offers a wide range of standard products, based on more than 20 years experience in optical metrology. Based on the standard products we are able to develop fast and effective special solutions with high quality. That we see as our signature feature.
